Lesson #9: Edge burn. This one darkens the edges of the photo and lightens the middle to help draw your eye to the center of the photo. I did this one very subtle and with this photo I can barely tell the difference. The top photo is the original and the bottom has the edge burn. I may have to find a better photo, more of a portrait or at least not so spread out.
